The Brim silo project undertaken by Guido van Helten & Juddy Roller is the first silo to be painted in the state of Victoria. Completed over a five-week period during the summer of 2015, the artwork is based on imagery photographed locally by the artist and is representative of the farming generation the Wimmera region is noted for. The work was completed in early January 2016.

The Brim silo project began in late 2015 and completed in 2016 as the first silo painting in the State of Victoria. The success of this project has been shown and measured in the uptick of tourism and visits to the Wimmera region which had - until the public artwork addition - been a farming community at the whim of the elements.

"'There's no railways here, no post master, no railway gangers,' one local said about Brim. But as van Helten embarked on adorning Brim's decommissioned silos with a giant mural, the town became the centre of international media attention. Mr Holland [the pub owner in Brim] said two months after the artist downed tools, the spike in visitors that the work brought to the town had not abated." 1
