Painted for the first edition of The Crystal Ship arts festival in Oostend, Belgium. This piece is based on photographs I took of a local former fisherman, the owners of this former silo site explained they now see his face as a representation of the original character of the old harbour neighbourhood. Thanks to the crystal ship team and Architectenvennootschap Quemas for their hospitality.
