This work was inspired by street photography taken while exploring concepts in Patras, Greece. This method of photography was selected to have an honest interaction with the notion of public space, a concept thought to be principal to democracy in ancient Greek cities through text written on the Agora.

Visiting the public squares of Patras, this work was inspired by the varied architectural styles and their coexistence, representation of traditional linear perspective found in early depictions of the Agora, and the strong light and shadows that are formed by the covered walkways and columns of the city.
